I’m not exactly a poster child for conformity…

I spent my childhood chasing a dream to be a professional baseball player when the odds were heavily stacked against me and 99% of people told me to be more realistic. But I found a way.

I got engaged to the woman of my dreams after 5 months of long distance dating and married her 5 months after that, despite the concerns we were “going too fast.” We got pregnant when we were homeless, sleeping on parents’ couches. Now we homeschool 7 incredible children and have been happily married since 2010.

I’m a licensed financial advisor who has leveraged hundreds of thousands of dollars on credit cards all in the name of building a firm that educates people on the game of money, not exactly textbook financial wisdom.

But my journey is exactly why I connect so deeply with clients.

I believe God has big plans for each of us, and when we chase those dreams relentlessly, it’s a guarantee that life won’t go as planned. “How it has always been done” won’t work.

When we’re chasing a life most others aren’t, we have to think and act how most others don’t.

And that’s what I’m after, how to help people in the messy-middle of their pursuit of excellence, helping them change their relationship with money from the inside-out so they can be freed from the emotional chains money has over us.
