The I GOT This Grant

The I GOT This Grant equips nonprofit organizations that cultivate a growth mindset with coaching, tools, and resources to achieve lasting impact. Qualifying organizations will unlock the potential for positive change by working with certified Ideal Life Coaches trained to align your organizational mission and vision by utilizing The I GOT This Framework.

Grant recipients will receive one day of Team Consulting to implement the I GOT This Framework and a grant of up to $5,000.

Grant Criteria
To qualify for the I GOT This Grant, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Non-profit organizations impacting the Lowcountry (Charleston, Berkeley and/or Dorchester counties)
  • Strong leadership looking to enhance their organization and/or their employees’ well-being
  • Align with The Ideal Life’s core values, and/or want to improve their core values
  • Are not a campaign, political campaign, worship center, or direct service without a programming component
  • Recognized by the IRS as a non-profit organization (501c3)
  • Does not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, color, sexual orientation, national/ethnic origin, religion, and/or disability

Artist Community Grant

The Ideal Life Artist Community Grant connects the Ideal Creations community of artists to our proven I GOT This Framework and proliferates our mission by supporting global community artist events. Artist events are an opportunity to create and support the community and get into a flow state through creativity.

Grant Criteria
To qualify for the Ideal Life Artist Community Grant, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Must speak English
  • Must have 4 hours to go through the I GOT This Workshop
  • Ability to host a community event with a growth mindset component with a budget of up to $700
  • Submit project summary and loose budget with application
  • Willingness to participate in a post-event video filming

Employee Designated Grant

The Ideal Life Employee Designated Grant application is only open to nonprofits who have been nominated by The Ideal Life employees during the fourth quarter of each year and supports organizations with a growth mindset. After thorough employee evaluations and recommendations, Ideal Life staff carefully scores and allocates the grants.

Grant recipients will receive up to $2,500.

Grant Criteria
To qualify for the Employee Designated Grant, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Nominated by an Ideal Life employee
  • Preference is given to nonprofit organizations that can attend the yearly Impact Reception.

How long does the grant-making process take?
You’ll hear from us in 30-45 days from the quarterly deadline.

Can we use the grant for an event sponsorship?
Yes. The grant is unrestricted and may be used for operational or programmatic purposes.

What staff members should go through the team consulting?
The coaching is ideal for the executive staff and/or team leads.

Where does the one-day consulting take place?
The team consulting typically lasts 5-6 hours and is held in our office in downtown Charleston.

We have a fiscal sponsor, can we apply?
Yes.

What topics are covered during the consulting?
Our coaches will walk you through our I GOT This framework. you will identify an organizational dream, horizon and milestone goal and then identify a vision for the 7 roles of your nonprofit. Our coaches will then work with you to break down your milestone goal into objectives and deliberate tasks. we will teach you how to assess your deliberate practice.

What happens after the consulting?
Our coaches will be available (virtually) to join your regularly scheduled staff meetings to help you implement the dose 180 and asses and fine-tune your deliberate practice.

Why do you offer this to nonprofits?
We are passionate about making this framework more accessible to others. Nonprofits are the frontline workers of social good in our community and often lack resources for organizational consulting.

Can I apply more than one time?
If you are a good fit for our grant, your application will remain on file for the remaining quarters. You do not need to reapply, but you can edit your application.
